Wild West adventure! The end!

The last two weeks was without a doubt the best adventure I ever had. From hitting a deer the first day to blisters and our legs, sunburns, bumble bee attacks, tooth pain and a lot of fun we handelt everything without a problem. But the best thing was not hiking, the national parks or taking pictures it was simply spending time with my Dad. The good thing is there is a lot more places to see in America and I hope this adventure was only the start of a great journey. Thanks Dad for this awesome time!!!!!

Escalante, Utah

We made camp in Escalante, Utah, as my Dad started felling some tooth pain we decided to look for a dentist. The next morning we drove to a little village called Panguitch. After one afraid hour of waiting in the doctor office the nurse made a X-ray picture. The doctors diagnose was a infection caused a loose bridge. After this little hick up the adventure continues in Zion National Park, home of the very famous Angels Landing hike.

On the way to Moab, Utah

Finally one of my favorite places Moab, Utah. Moab is the mecca for Mountain Biking and also of two very famous National Parks Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. Our first stop was Canyonlands where we went to every overlook and the highlight was the hike to False Kiva as well the sunrise at Mesa Arch.

In Phoenix, Arizona

The first thing next day morning the tow company picked us up again and drove us to the nearest cruise america body shop. After a few phone calls to cruise america we ended up driving to Phoenix, Arizona to pick up a replacement RV. Easier said then done, first called a taxi to drive us to the nearest budget rental car company, after getting the rental car drive to Phoenix which is several hours away. As soon we got the new RV we drove back to the Grand Canyon where we the dead deer was still laying on the road. We just arrived a few minutes prior to sunset at Mather point in the Grand Canyon.

On way to the Grand Canyon!!! It happend!!!!

As we both got excited about to see the Grand Canyon and just 7 miles away from the National Park a deer jump out of the woods right in front of our RV. Just a few minutes later a Sheriff and a State Trupper showed up and helped us out. After 2 hours talking with cruise america emergency line they decided to call a tow to bring our RV to Flagstaff which is the nearest RV shop which is still 1 1/2 hours away.

Las Vegas here we are!!!

Yesterday my Dad arrived in Vegas with 44 degree Celsius and of course he loves it. After we went back to the hotel we went  to Sam's music store and then we walked pretty much the whole strip from the Wynn down to the Luxor. Our most favorite Hotel are the Venetian and Caesars Palace. We also went to Peter LIK's gallery, he is one of the most famous photographers in the world. Today starts our adventure to the grand canyon national park.
